Third Annual Campaign Bank Challenge

The Kishwaukee Family YMCA just completed their third Annual Campaign Bank Challenge. The Y challenged 4 local banks to raise funds for the Y’s Annual Campaign. In total, the banks collected donations from businesses and individuals for a grand total of $15,610! The big winners of the challenge are the children, families, and seniors who will benefit from the Y’s programs, when they otherwise would not be able to afford them. Because of the efforts of these local banks, they have improved the lives of many area residents.

In the challenge, banks were awarded points in various categories, and Resource Bank was crowned the champions for 2023. Resource Bank’s bank captain was Brandon Diviak. Captains for the other three banks were: Cindy Green-Deutsch (Old National Bank), Jacob Cook (First State Bank), and Chrissy Large (Heartland Bank).
