The DeKalb County Community Foundation has generously donated two portable basketball hoops to the Kishwaukee Family YMCA. These new portable basketball hoops will be here just in time for YMCA summer campers to break them in and Fall and Winter basketball participants to make regular use of them.
On May 10th, Vice President of the DeKalb County Community Foundation Christine Johnson presented the check to CEO of the Kishwaukee Family YMCA Mark Spiegelhoff.
“The Kishwaukee Family YMCA appreciates the ongoing support of our critical equipment needs by the DeKalb County Community Foundation so we can continue our service to the broader community of DeKalb County,” stated Mark Spiegelhoff, CEO. “So many children will benefit from using the portable basketball hoops to meet their health, fitness and recreation needs.”
The dedicated support of the DeKalb County Community Foundation makes it possible for the YMCA to offer dynamic programming to the members of our community.
